The SCHUBERTH R&D department integrates laboratories for carbon, wind tunnel, audio, and load testing to manufacture state-of-the-art helmets.
Safety, comfort, aerodynamic tuning, noise reduction, and optional electronics all combine to make the SP1 Carbon the ultimate carbon helmet.

The SP1 Carbon is handmade with a proprietary carbon fiber shell cured in an autoclave, providing the distinct Schuberth design with lightweight, durability, and superior safety. Every SP1 Carbon helmet is manufactured at the company's own Italian factory by the same staff that produces the "SF3 FIA 8860-2018 ABP" helmets used by multiple F1 drivers.

The SP1 Carbon was developed in a massive wind tunnel to achieve ideal aerodynamics and optimal airflow. It offers a perfect aerodynamic balance that can be customized with various spoilers and ventilation to meet the requirements of any type of racing.

Full Carbon Shell
Lightweight, hand-made carbon, autoclave-cured shell with 12 ventilation channels.
Optimal air circulation is achieved through aerodynamic design and airflow channels integrated into the EPS, providing an ideal flow for intake of cool air and exhaust of hot air.
In open air, the helmet provides 14 liters of fresh air per second at 100 km/h.

3D-injected 3mm thick visor
Visor with feedback from F1 technology.
12 different visors available from clear to smoke, with several mirroring and multi-layer mirroring coating options.
All standard visors are equipped with Pinlock(R) 120 lenses for optimal anti-fog performance. Tear-off buttons are also installed.

Visor lock system
The two-stage visor lock is based on feedback from F1 technology.
The visor always operates symmetrically, ensuring it closes securely.

Ready for communication systems
Cable channels in the cheek pads are provided for easy installation of radio communications.
A full selection of plug-and-play equipment is available as an option.


Our monocolle staff also uses these in racing karts and racing cars like the VITA and GRANZ; the aerodynamics are excellent so the head doesn't shake and you don't get tired, and the visor visibility is great—the Pinlock system has never once allowed the visor to fog up. It is a helmet I truly recommend.
